The film captures the heart of the still vivid multi-national, multi-religious capital of Georgia, Tbilisi, and evokes the atmosphere of the good old times. Focusing on the oldest part of the town, Maidan Square, it shows the ancient center of the Caucasus that used to be a trading place for tapestries, precious stones, silk and stories. It is here where East and West meet. Everyday reality is pretty harsh nowadays, but people are still proud of their city and the Maidan baths. | Janelidze, Dato Dato Janelidze (born 1958, Tbilisi)
