"Golden Apricot on the Wheels" in Artsakh

In August 2009 Golden Apricot Yerevan IFF was hosted in Artsakh (Stepanakert and Shushi) to present the selection of prize-winner films from its recent edition, including George Ovashvili's “The Other Bank”, Özcan Alper’s “Autumn”, as well as Harutyun Khachatryan’s “Border”. Within the framework of “GOLDEN APRICOT on the Wheels” program “The Vandals of the 21st century” by Ashot Movsisyan and Spartak Gharabaghtsyan was also shown. This is already the third year that Golden Apricot Yerevan IFF is hosted in Artsakh.
“Golden Apricot on the Wheels” was opened with a special screening dedicated to the 40th anniversary of Sergey Parajanov's masterpiece - “The Color of Pomegranate”.
The films were screened in “Spai Tun” of the city of Stepanakert and in Naregatsi Art Institute of the city of Shushi.
Official partner of the “GOLDEN APRICOT on the Wheels” in Artsakh program is “Artsakh Alco” company.
The program is supported by the Ministry of Culture of Republic of Armenia and the Ministry of Culture and Youth Issues of Republic of Nagorno Karabakh.
