1992, Karabagh. A military unit evacuates inhabitants from the bombarded territories. The militaries see an old man sitting next to his half ruined home at the roadside. In no way does he agree to leave his home…

They both graduated from the Film Directing Department of the Yerevan Pedagogical Institute. In 1981-1990 worked at Hayfilm Studio where they shot five short films. In 1990 Narine Mkrtchyan and Arsen Azatyan established Aysor, after Aysor - Plus Film Productions, where they made the program Armenian Film Projects by supporting of the government of Canada and won the Award of the Ministy of Culture of Canada. Till now they made four feature and eleven short fiction films. Their films have been shown and awarded in several IFFs, including those in Berlin, Moscow, Montreal, Rotterdam, Edinburgh, Sydney, Busan, and etc.
