SYNOPSIS

A documentary about a small African island with 24 000 people, 6 000 donkeys, and just 2 cars. Lamu, just off the coast of Kenya, is not only a rare and еxclusive swahili culture cradle, but also "the donkey capital of Africa." It is a place where there are donkey traffic jams, where the largest humanitarian organization is a donkey sanctuary, where donkeys are the key to earning a living, and where a young boy's fondest dream is to one day have a donkey of his own…

Բorn 1975․ Graduated from the Directing Department of Yerevan State Pedagogical University. He has worked for Russian Public Television as a director of the prominent documentary series, Heroes of the Century. He is the author of award-winning documentaries (Under the Open Sky, Hello, Fellini!). He made numerous social clips as well. Since 2007 Arman Yeritsyan has been collaborating with Bars Media Documentary Film Studio.
