Born 1965. He was involved in cinema as an actor from early age. In 90’s went to Kazakhstan and got acquainted with the “Kazakh New wave” directors. He was the producer for 1995 Last Holiday, which won the Main Prize at the Rotterdam IFF and Golden Prize at the Tokio IFF. Also produced several renowned Kazakh films.

Born 1974. In 2000 graduated from the T. Zhurgenov Kazakh National Academy of Arts, as scriptwriter. He made several movies while studying, which were appreciated with awards. Works at the Kazakhfilm Studio (since 1997).
