SYNOPSIS

This blackboard has seen it all: experiences during a year spent in the intimacy of a mountain school. An ideal class in which the pupils, aged 6 to 12, enjoy themselves while learning from their successes and their failures – resulting in just as much laughter as tears.

Born 1942, Lausanne, Switzerland) 1959-61- studies photography. 1963-64 - trains as cinematographer with Rolf Seeger and interns as scenographer at the EXPO in Lausanne. Since 1964, he works as a director, scenographer, editor, cinematographer and independent producer. Is a director of the hugely successful film – with close to 425’000 admissions – Les petites fugues/Small Escapes.
