SYNOPSIS
Hamo, an old farmer, lives with his wife in a remote village in the mountains of Armenia. The money their son send them from Russia just allows them to survive. But Hamo nourishes a dream of acquiring a Moskvitch, the most beautiful car in the world, the one that had promised the Soviet power and that he never had. The Soviet Union is gone, but the dream of Hamo remains. He learns that there is one for sale in a nearby village...

Aram Shahbazyan
Aram Shahbazyan graduated from Yerevan State Institute of Theatre and Cinema in 1994, Directing Department, In 1996-1997, he studied in La Femis as a Film Director, He was the chief director of Ar TV Company, director at Armenian Public TV Company, duirector assistent at Hayfilm Studio. Currently works for Shoghakat TV. His short film Akner was selected by XXVII Moscow IFF 2005, for the section Perspectives. He got the Best Director Award twice at the “Yes em” IFF of Young Filmmakers in Yerevan, in 2004 and 2005.
