SYNOPSIS
The film refers to an Armenian family, who live in Istanbul. After passing a long path, they came back to their paternal house. Living in Istanbul, they could prove the Turkish court and regain their paternal house. And every spring they return their hearth in Sasun and cultivate their native land. “Whatever happens, we won’t leave our land…” they say, though they don’t manage to live in peace and during permanent struggle some of the family members were killed.

Armen Khachatryan
In 1984, Armen Khachatryan graduated from Moscow All-Russian State University of Cinematography (VGIK), Russia. He has been working at “Hayk” and “Armenfilm” film studios since 1984. During this period he took part in creating 45 films. His films have been presented at many international film festivals. He lectures at the Yerevan State Institute of Theater and Cinema.
