Aurora is an experimental documentary film. It shows parts of everyday life in Northern Russia. Lakes and rivers are frozen. You cross them with cars or snowmobiles. The film’s central topic is the visualization of the connection between people and nature. You can notice also some political accents. There are media reports to be heard in the background, discussing Russian and Ukrainian topics, but you cannot and you shall not understand it properly. The tone of the Russian language is here part of the shown atmosphere.
