Zhora, 78 years old, and Knyaz, 77 years old, were once the most celebrated tightrope walkers in Armenia. Today they are the only existing masters who can keep this ancient art alive. Envious rivals throughout their lives, they now share the same hope – that the only remaining tightrope student will carry on their life’s work. Hovsep, a 17-year-old orphan adopted by Zhora, has to decide whether or not to accept the responsibility of being the last tightrope performer in a society that has abandoned both him and the art of tightrope walking. And now, after the death of Zhora, his teacher, Hovsep’s choice has only become more difficult…

Director, scriptwriter. In 2000, Arman Yeritsyan graduated from the Directing Department of Yerevan Pedagogical University. For years he has worked in Monarch Films, Internews Armenia, Russian Today TV Channel as well as different Armenian TV Channels. Arman has directed more than 50 advertisments and documentaries. He has worked for Russian Public Television as a director for Heroes of the Century documentary series. He has directed several awarded films as Under the Open Sky, Hello Fellini, etc. Since 2007, Arman is collaborating with Bars Media Documentary Film Studio. He was a jury member at Golden Apricot IFF, Banff World Media IFF, Russia Documentary Open FF and for other festivals also.

Inna Sahakyan graduated from the Yerevan Fine Arts Institute with an M. A. degree in Fine Arts Criticism. Since 2002, she has been working as a producer and director at Bars Media. She has directed and produced PSAs, for various international organizations and local NGOs (UN, UNICEF, European Union, and USAID). She worked as an assistant director for the multi-award winning documentary A Story of People in War and Peace.
