Hubert Caron-Guay
Hubert Caron-Guay is an artist and filmmaker based in Montreal. He explores power and social structures through documentary, fiction, and visual art. As a member of the Épopée collective (2010-2014), he directed socially engaged films on precariousness. His works, including Destierros (2017) and Ressources (2021), have been awarded at festivals. His first feature film, The Mechanics of Borders, examines inner struggles of isolated and uprooted characters confronting deeply ingrained violence.
