TRISTAN FOREVER
90 MIN
2026
For thirty years, Loran Bonnardot, a doctor from Paris, has been visiting Tristan da Cunha, the world's most remote inhabited island in the middle of the South Atlantic – home to some of the most unique species and where only 6 to 8 boats make the journey per year. The volcanic island has become Loran's spiritual refuge, its inhabitants his chosen family and Martin, the fisherman, his best friend. Now 50, Loran travels back to his utopian island once more but this time without a plan to return: he wants to become one of its 230 permanent residents. Will the island council accept him?
