SYNOPSIS
By ferrying people from one bank to another, across the artificial lake on the Naryn river, the boatman Djanybek connects people far from the civilization, with whole Kyrgyzstan.

Mirlan Abdykalykov
Born 1982. Studied at the Kyrgyz State National University, Journalism Department. From 1990 to 2001 had main roles in films of Kyrgyz director Aktan Arym Kubat. Worked in Kazakhstan Republic in cinematography (2003-04); at the Bigim Studio as a second director and co-director (2004-08). In 2008 he founded his own studio, Selkinchek, producing advertisement and social video.
