Men and Women follows a young girl over her 9th Christmas as her loss of innocence is reflected in her realisation that neither Santa nor relations between her parents are what they seem. She is ‘the girl of a thousand uses’, traipsing after her father Dan around country roads and marts. The girl’s creeping sense of injustice between the men and women in reflected in incidents happening in her family.
