Synopsis
A journey to a dream through an encounter between Suna, a twelve-year-old girl who uses leaves as a blanket, and an old man who possesses secret knowledge. A reflection on friendship between a father and a daughter, a teacher and a student, an adult and a child, and the path that can turn the impossible into possible… The invented letters in the film are inspired by the old Armenian symbols.

Armine Anda
The films Armine Anda co-wrote and produced participated in 100+ festivals, among them Busan, Goteborg, Warsaw, Clermont-Ferrand, Oberhausen, Uppsala, Cinemed, Tampere, Go Short, Animafest Zagreb, BIAF-Bucheon, Anime’ Est, Cinanima, Krok. She is the recipient of the Orange Book Award in Armenia for her fantasy novel published with her illustrations. Her directorial debut Wind Blows was made in Abbas Kiarostami Workshop. Song of Flying Leaves, the first animation she directed, is co-written with the famous Ukrainian film director Roman Balayan. It had its World Premiere in “New Directions” Competition of Kaboom Animation Festival in 2023. Armine Anda is a Berlinale Talent alumna, EAVE and EWA member.
