Believing that his lover Jennifer, a wealthy American philanthropist, will help him build that future, he risks everything to cross the border. Once reunited, their relationship reveals deep inequalities of power, privilege, desire, and dependence. The film explores migration, class, and the fragile nature of the American Dream.
