Felix Kalmenson is an artist and filmmaker. Kalmenson is in an ongoing collaboration with Rouzbeh Akhbari under the name Pejvak. Pejvak and Kalmenson's independent films have screened internationally including at Mostra Sao Paulo IFF, Kurzfilmtage Winterthur, Kasseler Dokfest, Doclisboa, L'Alternativa, Moscow International Experimental FF, Sharjah Film Platform, Images Festival, Kyiv International Short FF. They have been awarded the Prix George at the 24th Internationale Kurzfilmtage Winterthur for A Passage and the Trinity Square Video Award at Images Festival for A Mountain that Opens Like a Door.
