''PARAJANOV’S THALER''


Parajanov’s Thaler – for outstanding artistic contribution into world cinema In 1976 when Sergei Parajanov was imprisoned, he carved figures with his fingernails on the aluminum lids of milk bottles and called them "Thalers"

Today they are in Yerevan, in the museum of S. Parajanov. A Prize represents a silver copy of one of these coins.
