Synopsis
Niko is a promising young musician. He looks at life with hope and dreams of owning his own drum-set. When a charismatic drug dealer Kogo appears in his life, Niko finds himself in the middle of a drug distribution and corrupt police feud. There comes a moment for Niko when he begins to reassess his life.

Kote Kalandadze
Kote (Konstantine) Kalandadze is a young Georgian director, scriptwriter, producer, and musician, who gained a reputable name in the Georgian music scene as the frontman of bands. Nebo SSSR and Lady Heroine. Before directing, he worked in a wide variety of areas in film as an actor, sound director, composer. In 2014, he co-founded Parachute Films, currently producing 4 nationally supported feature films. In 2017, The Drummer was awarded the GNFC debut film production grant. Kote's 2nd feature project Grey Skies (in development) was selected for the 2018 GNFC development grant, Midpoint Feature Launch, and the 2020 Rotterdam Lab Award.
