John, a septuagenarian living in a luxury hotel on the Côte d’Azur, is
intrigued by his next-door neighbour who reminds him of his wildest
years on the Riviera during the 1960s. At that time, he was a spy in a
rapidly developing world full of promise.
One day, this neighbour mysteriously disappears... bringing John face
to face with his demons: are his former adversaries back to wreak
havoc on his idyllic world?

Hélène Cattet (born 1976, Paris), Bruno Forzani (born 1976, Menton, Alpes-Maritimes, France)
Hélène Cattet and Bruno Forzani live in Brussels and have been working together since 2000. After writing and directing several self-produced shorts, they made their debut feature film Amer in 2009. They followed it in 2012 with L’étrange couleur des larmes de ton corps as well as their contribution to the American anthology film The ABCs of Death. In 2017, they shot Laissez bronzer les cadavres, adapted from the eponymous book by Jean-Patrick Manchette and Jean-Pierre Bastid.
