Emilie Blichfeldt is celebrated for her bold and provocative short films. Her Norwegian Film School graduation project from 2018, Sara’s Intimate Confessions, was selected for festivals such as the 2018 Locarno IFF and the 2019 Clermont-Ferrand International Short FF. The Ugly Stepsister marks Blichfeldt’s feature directorial debut.
