Petros Hovhannisyan
Petros Hovhannisyan (born in 1997) is an Armenian filmmaker who graduated from the Yerevan State Institute of Theater and Cinema with a degree in Fiction Film Directing. In 2019, he directed Recidive, a psychological drama. In 2024, he created the mini-series Summer of ’84 for the Kinodaran platform, which was later adapted into a feature film. He is currently preparing his debut feature, A Hundred Meters North from Happy Vale, a socially engaged drama. Through his films, Petros Hovhannisyan aims to highlight local issues and untold stories inspired by the social and psychological realities of his country—giving voice to lives and struggles often left out of view.
