Inspired by a true story, the film follows Lusine, an Armenian teenager from a conservative family in Los Angeles, who faces a life-altering choice when she gets pregnant by her African-American boyfriend.

Areg Azatyan is an Armenian writer and filmmaker based in the USA. He is the author of six fiction books.
